The fire community today bid a heartfelt england/england/farewell/”>farewell/”>farewell to Gavin Tomlinson KFSM, former Chief Fire Officer and Chief Executive.

Emotional Tribute at Ascot Drive Fire Station

Hundreds of friends and colleagues lined the route as Gavin’s funeral procession made a moving stop at Ascot Drive Fire Station. The tribute attracted fire service personnel from across the country, alongside Gavin’s family, all gathering to honour his life and decades of dedicated service.

Messages of Condolence Flood In

Thanks pour in from across the fire Sectorsector and beyond. Gavin’s online book of condolences will close at midday on Tuesday, 30 September. All messages will be shared with his family as a lasting tribute to a much-loved leader.
