Corrosive Substance Thrown in High Street Horror
Kent Police were called to Ye Arrow on High Street at 10:15pm on Saturday, 13 September 2025, following reports of a fracas. A man was allegedly attacked and had a corrosive substance thrown at his face.
Emergency services rushed to the scene. The victim suffered injuries deemed not life-threatening and was treated at a local hospital before being released.
Three Men Busted Over Assault
- A 23-year-old man from Wickford, Essex, was arrested on 18 September.
- A 19-year-old from Purfleet-on-Thames was detained on 22 September.
- A 21-year-old from Upminster was arrested on 23 September.
All three are held on suspicion of assault. They remain on bail as police continue their probe into the shocking incident.
