Man Who Died on London Underground Station Tracks Named

Police have named a man who died on the tracks at england/edgware/”>Edgware Tube station in london/”>North West London as 42-year-old Rizwan Ahmeed. The announcement comes as authorities appeal for help in locating his family.

Incident Details

British Transport Police

were called to Edgware station during the morning rush on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Upon arrival, officers and paramedics found Mr Ahmeed, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

His death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious, and a file has been prepared for the coroner.

Appeal for Family

Police are seeking assistance in finding Mr Ahmeed’s family or next of kin. Originally from Pakistan, he had been living in the UK and was known to have resided in both London and Newquay, Cornwall.

At the time of his death, Mr Ahmeed had short black hair and a beard, and was wearing a black waterproof hooded Coatcoat and black jogging bottoms.
