#Post### The Bedfordshire Rural Team are asking residents to be cautious, after receiving reports of cold callers offering to tarmac drives. There is a scam where rogue traders arrive at farm premises, sports clubs and small businesses offering to tarmac or resurface car parks and driveways with tarmac or gravel using tarmac leftover from work they have carried out locally. They will quote a small sum of money, then demand a large sum once the work is done. Police are urging members of the public to report any similar instances to Police, but also reminding you to stay alert and be cautious of any door-step traders. To report a crime in action always dial 999. To report a crime after it has happened, or to report suspicious activity, either call 101 or report online at www.bedfordshire.police.uk
