Police have confirmed a woman’s body was discovered at Hayle park/”>Park Nature Reserve in Tovil, england/maidstone/”>Maidstone this morning.
Officers were called at about 7.30am to an area near Fieldfare Drive. A police Cordoncordon and a forensic tent were put in place while enquiries were carried out, with around 150 metres of path screened off from public view.
A Kent Police spokesperson said:
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and the woman’s next of kin has been informed. A report will now be prepared for the coroner.”
Cllr Paul Wilby
, chair of the nature reserve, said he is assisting officers and has offered CCTV to support the investigation. The park, a popular spot for walkers and families, is due to host its annual open day on Sunday (7 September).
