A 20-year-old man has appeared in court following an alleged knife assault in Edenbridge that left another man with head injuries.
Police were called to Station Road, opposite a petrol station, at around 4:20pm on Friday 8 August after reports of a fight. Officers arrested a suspect at the scene.
Further enquiries led them to another location where the victim, a man in his 20s, was found with injuries to his head consistent with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital; his injuries are not life-threatening.
Kent Police confirmed the victim and the suspect were known to each other.
Court appearance
Dylan Williams, 20, of Manor Road, Edenbridge, was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Monday 11 August.
He was bailed with conditions and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 8 September.
