Six People Treated and One Airlifted to Hospital After Serious House Fire in Northfleet

Emergency services were called to a house fire in Park Avenue, Northfleet, at around 8am yesterday (Tuesday, July 29).
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) sent four fire engines to the scene, where crews wearing breathing apparatus worked to extinguish the blaze using main jets and hose reel jets.
Six people were treated by paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb), with one person being airlifted to hospital by Kent Air Ambulance for further treatment. Their condition has not been confirmed.
A spokesperson for KFRS said:
“Crews worked quickly to bring the fire under control and supported our partner agencies on scene. Fire investigators are now working to determine the cause of the blaze.”
Members of the KFRS Volunteer Response Team were also on hand to support those affected by the incident.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and an investigation remains ongoing.
