Man in His 20s Stabbed in Thornton Heath as Police Launch Investigation
A young man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in broad daylight on a busy street in Thornton Heath.
Emergency services were called at 2.51pm today (Friday, 25 July) to reports of an assault on Parchmore Road. Metropolitan Police officers attended the scene alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, where they found a man in his 20s suffering from stab wounds.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment. Police have confirmed that his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A cordon remains in place on Parchmore Road this evening as officers continue their investigation. No arrests have been made at this stage.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Officers remain at the scene and are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.”
The force is now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
