Two Arrested After Sutton High Street Barber Shop Stabbing

 

Two men have been hospitalised and arrested following a stabbing incident at a barber shop on Sutton High Street on Monday afternoon.

Metropolitan Police were called at 14:13hrs on Monday 21 July to reports of a stabbing. Officers were joined at the scene by London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

Upon arrival, emergency services found two men — aged 35 and 26 — injured inside the premises. One had sustained knife wounds.

Both men were taken to hospital, and their injuries have since been confirmed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.

In an update, a police spokesperson confirmed:

“Both individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident. We are not seeking anyone else at this time.”

Detectives are urging any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
