Police have launched a murder investigation and sealed off part of Seville Street in Knightsbridge after a man in his 30s was stabbed to death outside the luxury Park Tower Hotel and Casino on Wednesday evening.
Emergency services, including London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, were called to the exclusive central London address at 9:24pm on July 9, following multiple 999 calls reporting a stabbing just yards from Hyde Park and across the road from Harvey Nichols.
Despite desperate efforts by paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
A large police cordon remains in place this morning, stretching around the entrance to the £1,650-a-night five-star hotel, with officers maintaining a presence at the crime scene. A yellow and white forensic tent has been erected outside the building, with bloody medical kits, first aid equipment, and a white sheet sealed in a clear evidence bag visible near the hotel steps.
