Three people have been charged in connection with the murder of 22-year-old Dara Omar, who was fatally stabbed in Hounslow on Sunday, 22 June.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed today that Kaywan Warzier Karim, 27, of Walnut Tree Road, has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Two others—Tania Hamza, 33, of Kingsley Road, and Aziz Hama, 31, of Selbourne Avenue—have been charged with violent disorder and assisting an offender, and assisting an offender, respectively.
All three suspects will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday, 26 June).
Fourth Arrest Made
In addition, police have confirmed the arrest of a fourth person, a 35-year-old man, on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody as enquiries continue.
Timeline of Events
Police were called to Hanworth Road, near the junction with School Road, at 2:21pm on Sunday, 22 June, following reports of a stabbing.
Officers arrived with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and found Dara Omar, from Brentford, with critical stab injuries. Despite being rushed to hospital, he sadly died a short time later.
His next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Appeal for Witnesses
The Metropolitan Police continues to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information.
A spokesperson said: “This investigation is moving quickly, and we urge anyone who may have seen what happened or captured it on dashcam or CCTV to come forward.”
