A murder investigation has been launched following a fatal stabbing in Hounslow, west London.
Emergency services were called at 2:21pm on Sunday, 22 June, to reports of a stabbing on Hanworth Road, near the junction with School Road.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police, along with London Ambulance Service paramedics, found a 22-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital for treatment but tragically died later from his injuries.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Incident Happened Outside Hounslow Muslim Centre
The incident occurred outside the Hounslow Muslim Centre, a busy location in the heart of the borough. At this stage, police say there is no indication the venue is connected to the attack.
A crime scene remains in place, and bus routes in the area were diverted while forensics teams conducted enquiries.

Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, is leading the investigation:
“My thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
This attack happened in a busy part of Hounslow during the middle of the afternoon. It’s vital we hear from anyone who saw the incident, the events leading up to it, or what happened afterwards.
You may hold vital dash cam or mobile footage. Please come forward.”
