A body has been recovered during the search for a missing 35-year-old man from Chatham, Kent Police confirmed on Saturday, 14 June 2025.
Discovery in Wooded Area Near Maidstone
Police officers were called to a wooded area near Old Chatham Road, Maidstone, where a man was sadly confirmed dead at the scene.
Although formal identification has yet to be completed, the family of a missing man from Chatham has been informed of the discovery.

A police spokesperson stated:
“Officers searching for a missing man from Chatham have recovered a body. Police attended a wooded area near Old Chatham Road, Maidstone, on Saturday 14 June 2025 and a man was confirmed deceased at the scene.
Formal identification has yet to take place; however, the family of a missing 35-year-old man from Chatham have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
