Knife Found After Isle of Dogs Group Fight, No Arrests Yet
A knife has been recovered following reports of a group altercation in Glengall Grove, E14, on Friday evening, but no suspects or victims were found at the scene, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Police were called to the scene at 7:34 PM on May 23 after receiving reports of several males fighting. When officers arrived, the individuals had dispersed, and no injuries were reported. However, a knife was discovered and secured by police.
Ongoing Investigation
In a statement, a Met spokesperson confirmed:
“Police were called at 19:34hrs on Friday, 23 May to reports of a group of males fighting in Glengall Grove, E14. Officers attended but no victims or suspects were located. A knife was recovered from the scene. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.”
The incident has raised concerns amid ongoing efforts to combat knife crime in East London.
