West Midlands Police have launched an urgent public appeal for information following the tragic death of a man in Quinton on Sunday night (19 May).
Emergency services were called to the scene near Quinton Expressway and Ridgacre Road West just before 10:10pm, after a man reportedly fell from a bridge and was then struck by two vehicles.
Despite the best efforts of medics, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Victim Not Yet Identified
Police say they have not yet been able to identify the man and are appealing to the public to help trace his identity.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said:
“Tragically, nothing could be done to save him. The drivers of both vehicles remained at the scene and are assisting us with our enquiries.
We are now asking for anyone who may have seen anything, or who may know who the man is, to get in touch as a matter of urgency. We have specialist officers ready to support his loved ones.”

Detectives are particularly keen to hear from anyone who:
- Saw the man in the area prior to the incident.
- May have dashcam footage from around 10:00–10:15pm.
- Can help identify the man involved.
