Brighton Stabbing: Police Appeal to Identify Man as Three Teenage Girls Charged

Sussex Police have issued an appeal to help identify a man as part of their ongoing investigation into a stabbing incident in Brighton.

The attack occurred around 2.15am on Friday, April 26, near the junction of London Road and Rose Hill Terrace, when a 45-year-old man from Brighton was reportedly assaulted by a group of individuals. He sustained multiple knife wounds and required hospital treatment for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Three Teenage Girls Charged

In the aftermath of the incident, three 17-year-old girls from Brighton were arrested and charged with:

Due to their age, their identities have not been made public. The trio appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on April 28 and have been bailed with strict conditions. They are expected to return to court on May 27.

Public Help Needed to Identify Man in CCTV Image

As part of the wider investigation, Sussex Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to, who may have vital information about the incident.

“We are urging anyone who recognises the man in the image or who has any information about the events that night to come forward as soon as possible,” said a police spokesperson.
