Police have named the victim of a fatal stabbing in Brent as Ali Faris Muhammad, 26, who lived in Harrow.
Ali died following an altercation in the early hours of Sunday, 18 May 2025. Emergency services were called to Kingsbury Road, NW9, at 3.31am, after reports of a serious incident.
The victim was rushed to hospital suffering from a stab wound, but despite the best efforts of medical staff, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Murder Investigation Underway
A murder investigation has now been launched, led by Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo.
“Our thoughts are with Ali’s family and loved ones. They have asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time,” said DCI Bhangoo.
“Our team of detectives and forensic specialists are working at pace to establish the full circumstances that led to his tragic death. We urge anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information that could assist us, to come forward.”
Community Impact and Appeal for Information
No arrests have yet been made, and the crime scene remains in place. Officers are maintaining a presence in the Kingsbury area to reassure local residents.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from around Kingsbury Road in the early hours of Sunday to contact investigators.
