Two suspected drug dealers have been charged after Dartford officers seized 65 individual deals of class A drugs, including cocaine and heroin, during a traffic stop on Friday 16 May 2025.
Police were on routine patrol in the Joyce Green Lane area shortly before 10am when they observed a Nissan Qashqai stopping twice for pedestrians who appeared to approach the vehicle in a suspicious manner.
Suspecting possible drug dealing, officers intercepted the car in Attlee Road and conducted a search of both occupants, leading to the discovery of multiple wraps of cocaine and heroin.
The suspects, identified as:
- Urkan Kerimegou, 30, of Chaucer Road, Welling,
- Evie Southion, 22, of Martens Avenue, Bexleyheath,
were arrested at the scene and later charged with possession of heroin and cocaine with intent to supply. Mr Kerimegou also faces a further charge of driving without insurance.
The pair appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 17 May.
- Mr Kerimegou was remanded in custody pending a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court, with the date yet to be confirmed.
- Ms Southion was released on bail, with a court date scheduled for Friday 13 June at the same court.
Kent Police confirmed the arrests form part of ongoing efforts to tackle class A drug supply in Dartford and surrounding areas.
