What Happened?
Metropolitan Police officers and London Ambulance Service paramedics responded to reports of a stabbing shortly after 10pm on Victoria Road, a central stretch in Surbiton lined with shops, restaurants, and the railway station.
Upon arrival, they found a 30-year-old man with stab wounds. He was treated at the scene before being transported to a major trauma centre.
Thankfully, police later confirmed that his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing. He remains in hospital under observation.

“On Wednesday, May 14 at 10.06pm, police and the London Ambulance Service responded to reports of a stabbing on Victoria Road, Surbiton. A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital where his injuries were treated. His injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made at this time. Enquiries are ongoing.”

Ambulance Statement
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson added:
“We were called at 10.04pm to reports of a stabbing in Victoria Road, Surbiton. We sent an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars, and an incident response officer. London’s Air Ambulance also dispatched a trauma team. We treated a patient and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
