The Metropolitan Police have launched a public appeal for information after two kittens were reportedly tortured and killed in a distressing incident on Ickenham Road, Ruislip.
The cruelty was reported on the evening of Saturday, 3 May 2025, after a member of the public contacted police, stating they had witnessed two teenagers allegedly dismembering the animals.
Despite urgent enquiries, no arrests have yet been made. Police have now released CCTV footage and descriptions of two individuals they wish to speak with as part of their investigation.
Police Seek Teen Pair Seen in Area
Police Sergeant Babs Rock, of the Metropolitan Police, said:
“This is an incredibly distressing incident that has understandably caused serious concern in the local community. We are doing everything we can to identify those involved.”
The individuals are described as follows:
- Male suspect:
- Approximately 5ft 6in, with short dark hair
- Wearing a dark long-sleeved jacket, blue jeans, and carrying a black duffel bag, believed to have contained the kittens
- Female suspect:
- Also around 5ft 6in, with long red hair
- Initially wearing a white top and black shorts, later seen putting on a purple jumper
Police are urging anyone who recognises the pair or may have relevant information to come forward.
