A man has been taken to hospital after becoming seriously unwell in Finsbury Park, north London, on Saturday evening.
Emergency services were called at approximately 5:51pm on Sunday, 11 May, following reports of a person in medical distress at the popular park location.

A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokesperson said:
“We were called at 5.51pm yesterday (11 May) to reports of a person who was very unwell in Finsbury Park, north London.
We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew and paramedics in fast response cars.
We treated one patient at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority.”
The patient’s current condition remains unknown, but he was transported to hospital under priority status, indicating the seriousness of his condition at the time.
Despite concerns raised on social media, official sources have confirmed that this was not a stabbing.

LAS Response and Community Reassurance
Witnesses reported seeing multiple emergency vehicles in the area, including fast response paramedic cars. Local residents described the emergency response as “swift and professional.”
This incident follows a number of unrelated emergency responses across London in recent days, as NHS and LAS crews continue to respond to growing urban health emergencies.
