Two people, including a Year 11 schoolboy and a school caretaker, have been injured following a knife incident at Manshead Church of England Academy in Caddington, Bedfordshire.
Bedfordshire Police were called to the school on Dunstable Road at around 1:40pm on Thursday, May 1, after reports emerged that a student was armed with a knife.
Two Injured, Teenager Detained
Police confirmed that a teenager was quickly detained at the scene following reports he was running around with a large Zombie Knife.
Both injured individuals — understood to be the caretaker and a Year 11 pupil — were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The injured parties are said to be in stable condition, and no life-threatening injuries have been reported.

A spokesperson for Bedfordshire Police said:

Support teams have now been deployed to the school to assist students and staff following the traumatic event.
