Police taped off part of Harbour Way in Folkestone last night (27 April) following a serious crash near Churchill’s Social Club.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 10pm after a car collided with a lamppost and a wall at the bottom of Harbour Way. Officers quickly cordoned off the area to ensure public safety while the incident was dealt with.
A man, believed to be the driver of the vehicle, was taken to hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
Kent Police and paramedics remained at the scene for some time as investigations were carried out and the area made safe. The cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed, and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
