A 13-year-old boy has tragically died and two other people have been hospitalised following a devastating three-vehicle crash on the A25 in Bletchingley, near Redhill, Surrey.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 8:10pm on Easter Monday (April 21), where they found multiple casualties amid the wreckage.
The schoolboy, who was a front seat passenger in one of the vehicles involved, was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics.
Surrey Police confirmed that the driver of the same vehicle was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains in a stable condition. The driver of a second vehicle also sustained an arm injury, while a person in the third vehicle suffered minor injuries and did not require hospitalisation.
The A25 was closed for several hours while emergency responders attended the scene and investigators began collecting evidence. The road has since reopened.

“An investigation into the circumstances of this collision is ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage from the area to come forward.”
