A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital after being stabbed near a mosque on Plumstead Road this afternoon. The incident, which occurred shortly after 1:00 PM on Friday, has led to a heavy police presence and multiple cordons in the area.
Police Incident Outside Mosque
Emergency services rushed to Plumstead Road, SE18, following reports of a stabbing during Friday prayers. According to witnesses at the scene, the suspect fled into the mosque, which was swiftly placed under police lockdown, with armed officers called in to secure the building.

The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service have both been contacted for further details. A spokesperson for LAS confirmed a man had been treated at the scene and taken to hospital, where his injuries are being assessed. His condition is not currently known.
