Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following two serious assaults at a public house in Headcorn.
The incident occurred at around 11.30pm on Thursday, 6 March 2025, at the George and Dragon pub on High Street. According to investigators, two men — one in his 30s and another in his 50s — were allegedly attacked by a group of men while inside the premises.
Both victims sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment. They have since been discharged.
Following ongoing enquiries, a 39-year-old man from Maidstone was arrested on Tuesday, 1 April on suspicion of assault. He has been bailed pending further investigation.
Kent Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have relevant information but has not yet spoken with officers to come forward.
A police spokesperson said:
“This was a violent incident which left two men seriously injured. We are appealing to anyone who was in or around the George and Dragon pub that evening and saw what happened to get in touch with us.”
