Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed on a 148 bus in Walworth on Friday evening.
The incident occurred on 21 March, when police officers on patrol were flagged down at around 6.27pm by a member of the public on Walworth Road, SE1. They discovered a 34-year-old man suffering from stab wounds.
Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance Service, quickly attended the scene. The victim was transported to hospital, where his condition was assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
Investigation Ongoing
At this early stage, no arrests have been made, and detectives from the Metropolitan Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said:
âWe are working to establish the full facts of what happened and urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to come forward.â
