British Transport Police have released a CCTV image as part of an investigation into the theft of a passenger’s designer bag on board a train travelling from London Euston to Milton Keynes Central.
The incident occurred on the 5.53pm service on Saturday, 25 January, when a passenger boarded the train carrying a Louis Vuitton Keepall bag.
During the journey, another male passenger allegedly asked the bag’s owner to move it to the overhead storage rack. Upon arrival at Milton Keynes Central station, the man who had requested the bag be moved left the train—taking the designer bag with him.
Appeal for Information
Police are now seeking to identify the individual captured in the CCTV image released today. Officers believe he may hold important information that could assist with the ongoing investigation.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said:
“We are appealing to anyone who recognises the individual pictured or who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch. This was a high-value theft, and we are keen to speak with anyone who can help identify the person involved.”
