A man has been charged in connection with a serious assault in Bromley which left a victim in a life-threatening condition.
Demiesh Williams, 29, of Fir Tree Gardens, Croydon, was charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent on Tuesday, 18 March. He is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court later today.
The incident occurred on Sunday, 16 March, when police were called to Upper Elmers End Road at 8.24pm following reports of an assault.
Officers attended the scene and found a man in his 40s with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
Williams was arrested on the same evening and subsequently charged.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“This was a violent attack that has left a man critically injured. Our investigation remains ongoing, and we continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward.”
