A man in his 30s has tragically died following a fatal two-vehicle collision on Northend Road in Gestingthorpe, near Halstead.
The incident occurred shortly before midday on Friday, 14 March, prompting an immediate response from emergency services and members of the public, who tried desperately to save the motorcyclist’s life. Despite their efforts, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for several hours as police, paramedics, and forensic teams carried out investigations and ensured the area was made safe.

Essex Police are now urging anyone who may have information or footage that could help the investigation to come forward.
