A major emergency response is underway following a serious collision on the A53 Leek Road through Endon, prompting authorities to shut the road in both directions this afternoon.
Police, paramedics, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene at approximately 2:31pm, and road closures remain in place as investigations continue. One closure is reported to begin from Clay Lake, near Endon High School.
