Two teenagers have been charged in connection with a series of burglaries and vehicle thefts across north and west Kent.
The incidents occurred between Saturday, 1 March, and Tuesday, 11 March 2025, with suspects allegedly targeting five properties overnight, dressed in dark tracksuits. Car keys were reportedly taken following searches within the homes, resulting in multiple vehicles being stolen.
Among the vehicles stolen were:
- A Mini Cooper from Beechings Way, Gillingham (1 March)
- A Volkswagen Golf from Shipbourne Road, Tonbridge (6 March)
- A Mercedes and a Honda Jazz from Maidstone Road, Rainham (11 March)
- A Kia Picanto from London Road, Faversham (11 March)
Additional items, including an iPhone and an iPad, were stolen from a property near Walderslade Road, Rochester, and further valuables were taken from cars parked in Randolph Road, Rochester.
Investigators arrested two 17-year-old boys from Strood, Kent, and Southend-on-Sea, Essex, on 11 March. Both have been charged with conspiracy to steal motor vehicles, conspiracy to commit burglaries, and theft from a motor vehicle.
The teenagers remain in custody ahead of a scheduled court appearance at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 13 March.
