A woman has been taken to hospital as a priority following a serious crash on the A21 Farnborough Way in Orpington.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 11:30am on Thursday, March 13, after receiving reports of a collision. Paramedics treated one woman at the roadside before transporting her urgently to the hospital.
The collision caused the closure of Farnborough Way in both directions, between Tubbenden Lane and Farnborough Hill (B2158), resulting in significant traffic delays.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed: “We were called at 11.24am today (13 March) to reports of a road traffic collision in Farnborough Way, Orpington. We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the scene. We treated one patient at the scene and took her to hospital as a priority.”
The Metropolitan Police were contacted for additional details but have not yet provided a response.
