A man has been rushed to hospital following a stabbing in Limehouse last night (March 11).
Emergency services were called to Thomas Road, near Wallwood Street, shortly before 10.15pm after reports of a stabbing in the area.
London Ambulance Service (LAS) crews responded swiftly, along with a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance, who attended the scene by car.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.16pm last night (11 March) to reports of a stabbing in Thomas Road, E14. We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew and an incident response officer. We also dispatched a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance in a car. We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
The condition of the victim remains unknown at this time.
The Metropolitan Police have been contacted for further information, and it is currently unclear whether any arrests have been made.
The area was cordoned off by emergency services last night while investigations were carried out.
