Police have closed a road for a third consecutive day following a stabbing in Forest Hill.
Perry Vale remains closed westbound from Mayow Road to Westbourne Drive today (March 7), two days after the knife attack on Wednesday, March 5.
Incident Details
Officers were called to Sunderland Road, near Perry Vale, shortly before 5:30 pm on March 5, where they found a man suffering from stab wounds. Emergency services attended, and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is no longer considered life-threatening.
Road Closures and Disruptions
Despite reopening temporarily on several occasions, Perry Vale remains shut to traffic this morning as a crime scene remains in place.
Bus Route Diversion: The 356 bus route is being diverted due to the ongoing closure.
Investigation and Appeals
At this time, no arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing. Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
