Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses after a serious crash on the A249 near Stockbury that left two people seriously injured.
Details of the Collision
The crash occurred at 10:05 PM on Tuesday, 25 February 2025, when a silver Land Rover Discovery and a black BMW 1 Series collided near the Chalky Road junction.
Emergency services, including South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene.
Injuries Reported
- A passenger in the BMW, a man in his 30s, was airlifted to a London hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
- The Land Rover’s driver, a man in his 40s, was also seriously injured but is now recovering at home.
- A female passenger, in her 30s, sustained minor injuries.
Police Investigation & Witness Appeal
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
Sergeant Chris Oliver-Jones said:
“This is a well-travelled road, even at that time of night, and we believe there may be further witnesses who hold valuable information.”
