The first image has emerged of Ana Maria Murariu, a 45-year-old mother of three, who was tragically found dead at a home in Perivale last week.
Her partner, Mugurel Nica, 50, has been charged with her murder and appeared in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 3 March.
Emergency Services Rushed to Scene
On Friday, 28 February, police were called to a property on Jubilee Road after receiving reports of a disturbance.
Officers arrived alongside the London Ambulance Service, who worked desperately to save Ana Maria, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation & Police Statement
A special post-mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the cause of death.
Detective Inspector Richard Kempshall, from Specialist Crime, said:
“We are continuing to support Ana Maria’s family at this difficult time, and our thoughts remain with them.”
“We are not actively seeking anyone else in connection with this investigation.”

Mugurel Nica was charged with murder on Saturday, 1 March and is expected to appear at central criminal court in London later this week.
