Boy, 12, Hospitalised After Stabbing at Swiss Cottage School

A 12-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being stabbed during an altercation at a school in Swiss Cottage.
Emergency services were called to Adelaide Road, Camden, just before 12:55 PM on Tuesday, 4 March following reports of an incident.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service treated the boy at the scene before transporting him to the hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening.
Arrests Made
Two 14-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possession of an offensive weapon. They have been taken into custody as investigations continue.
The incident is understood to have taken place at UCL Academy, though confirmation from the school is pending.
Police Statement
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Officers were called to an altercation at a school on Adelaide Road, Camden, at 12:54 hrs on Tuesday, 4 March.
“A 12-year-old boy suffered a single stab wound. He was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service and later taken to hospital where his injuries were deemed to be non-life-threatening. He remains in hospital under observation.
“Two 14-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of GBH and possession of an offensive weapon. They have been taken into custody.
“The school is closed, and a crime scene is in place.”
