Police have seized over £2 million worth of counterfeit items after raiding a shop on Camden High Street, arresting a 29-year-old man on suspicion of trademark offences.
Major Raid in Camden
City of London Police forced entry into the store in the early hours of Wednesday, February 26 as part of an ongoing crackdown on counterfeit goods.
Inside, officers found 4,230 fake designer items, including clothing, footwear, bags, and watches, all suspected to be counterfeit versions of high-end brands. Authorities estimate that the illicit operation would have caused a multi-million-pound loss to the legitimate fashion industry.
The suspect has since been released under investigation, as police continue their efforts to dismantle the illegal trade in counterfeit products in the area.
