Fatal Bus Crash in Harrow Leaves One Dead, Three Injured

A tragic incident unfolded in Harrow on Monday evening when a London bus collided with a bus stop at the junction of Lower Road and Bessborough Road. The accident, which occurred shortly after 9:20 PM, has resulted in one fatality and left three people injured, including a nine-year-old child.

Preliminary reports indicate that the bus driver—a woman who remains uninjured—was attempting to service the bus stop when she was forced to take evasive action. According to eyewitness accounts, another vehicle overtook her at speed.

The Metropolitan Police, along with teams from the London Ambulance Service, attended the area, and a major incident investigation has been launched by the Metropolitan Police’s collision investigation unit. A Spokesman for RATP Dev Transit London  said “We can confirm that a serious incident took place last night at a bus stop in Harrow involving a route 395 bus, a car and a group of pedestrians at 9:30 pm on Monday, 24th February 2025.
 
Tragically, one pedestrian died at the scene from their injuries.
 
Our thoughts are with their family and friends during this difficult time.
 
We are cooperating with the relevant authorities as they investigate the incident.”
