Woman Dies Following Medical Emergency at Ashford Asda Supermarket

A woman has tragically passed away following a medical emergency at an Asda supermarket in Ashford, Kent.

Emergency services, including ambulances and police, were called to the scene on Friday, 17 January, at around 6pm.

The woman was rushed to William Harvey Hospital in a critical condition but sadly later died.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) said:
“Crews assessed and treated the patient before conveying them to William Harvey Hospital in a serious condition.

Tributes Paid

Since the incident, flowers have been laid outside the supermarket, and heartfelt tributes have been shared online.

One person wrote:
“So sad, condolences to the family.

Another added:
“Thoughts are with the family.”

A third shared:
“So tragic, sending love to all who knew her.

Further Details

Both Kent Police and Asda have been approached for a comment.

The community has expressed its shock and sadness at the incident, with many offering condolences to the woman’s loved ones during this difficult time
