Three men have been arrested and charged as part of an ongoing investigation into drug supply in Canterbury.
Arrests and Seizures
Kent Police officers were conducting patrols in St Andrew’s Close on the afternoon of Monday, 13 January, following reports of suspected drug dealing in the area.
During the operation:
- One man was arrested at the scene, and officers seized multiple wraps of suspected cocaine.
- Further enquiries led to a property search nearby, where officers arrested two more suspects.
- Police recovered quantities of suspected heroin and cocaine, along with cash, mobile phones, weighing scales, a machete, and a lock knife.
Charges
Three men have since been charged with possession and intent to supply Class A drugs (crack cocaine and heroin):
- Frankie Denham, 28, of Bingley Court, Canterbury.
- Talan Kiffen, 18, of Firhill Road, London.
- Stefan Da Silva, 18, from the Canterbury area
Additionally, Mr Da Silva has also been charged with possessing criminal property.
Court Appearance
All three suspects have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 15 January 2025.
