Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at the Shoot Smart gun range, located at 10305 North Freeway (I-35W), on Monday evening. MedStar EMS confirmed that one individual has died as a result of the incident.
Authorities responded to reports of a gunshot victim at the popular shooting range. Upon arrival, they found one individual critically injured. Despite emergency medical efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear at this time. Fort Worth Police have launched an investigation to determine whether the incident was accidental, intentional, or involved other factors. Officers are speaking with witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage from the location.
