A fire broke out at a shop on Coppermill Lane in Walthamstow this afternoon, prompting a swift response from the London Fire Brigade.
The blaze, which occurred at Copper Mill Off Licence, was reported just before 1:15 pm. One person managed to escape the premises before firefighters arrived. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
Fire Response and Damage
Six fire engines and 40 firefighters attended the scene. Crews brought the fire under control by 2:09 pm, preventing extensive damage.
According to the London Fire Brigade, the fire destroyed a small part of the roof void.
