Fundraiser Launched Following Tragic Death of Man in Eastbourne Sea

A fundraising campaign has been launched to support the family of Keith Kingsbury, who tragically died after being pulled from the sea in Eastbourne on Tuesday, 22 October 2024. Keith, a beloved husband and father, passed away unexpectedly, leaving his family struggling to cover the costs of his funeral.

The campaign, organized by Matthew Zalman, a friend and former neighbour of Keith, aims to raise funds for funeral expenses and to provide additional support for Keith’s wife, Dorota Grala-Kingsbury, and their children during this difficult time.

Matthew expressed his motivation behind the appeal, stating, “I’m raising as much as I can as I know they are struggling with this. Please, if you’re able to donate, support them. Myself and the family would be extremely grateful. A little amount goes a long way. If you are unable to donate, please help us by sharing.”

Keith’s sudden death has shocked the local community, prompting an outpouring of support as friends and neighbors rally to help his grieving family. The online fundraiser has been set up to ensure that Keith’s loved ones can give him the send-off he deserves, without the added financial burden.

The campaign, which accepts donations of any amount, encourages those who cannot contribute financially to share the appeal to widen its reach. Organizers hope that with the support of the community, they can alleviate some of the hardship faced by Keith’s family in the wake of this tragic loss.

Local authorities have confirmed that investigations into the circumstances surrounding Keith’s death are ongoing, but no further details have been released at this time.

For those wishing to support the campaign, donations can be made through the fundraiser’s online platform.
