A 20-year-old man is in critical condition after a stabbing near Farringdon station in central London. Police were initially called to Back Hill at around 9:35 pm on October 18 following reports of a moped crash.
Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended the scene and began treating the man for injuries sustained in the crash. However, while providing care, medics discovered that the victim had also suffered stab wounds. He was immediately transported to the hospital, where his condition has been assessed as life-threatening.
Investigation Underway
Authorities have launched a full investigation to determine the events that led to the stabbing and whether it is connected to the moped crash. Officers are currently piecing together the timeline and circumstances surrounding the incident, but no arrests have been made at this time.
