Kent Police have released CCTV images as part of an ongoing investigation into a burglary at a shop in Hythe, during which a number of bicycles were stolen.
The break-in occurred at a business on High Street and was reported to police on the morning of Wednesday, 18 September 2024. Since then, officers have been conducting inquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
Now, CCTV images of two men who may have information relevant to the investigation have been released. Inspector Pete Woodridge acknowledged that the images are not of the highest quality but expressed hope that they may still help identify the individuals:
I appreciate the images are not of the best quality, but I hope they might jog someone’s memory, or those pictured may be recognisable from their clothing.
Anyone with information about the burglary or who recognises the men in the images is urged to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/158499/24. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or by using the form available on their website.
The investigation is ongoing, and officers are continuing to follow leads to identify those responsible for the theft.
