Man Found Dead in Worthing Car Park After Welfare Concerns

Sussex Police were called to Eriswell Road car park in Worthing after concerns were raised for a man’s welfare on Wednesday, October 2. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 36-year-old man from Lancing who was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

The emergency call was made around 2:55 p.m., prompting a swift emergency services response. Despite efforts, the man was found deceased when authorities arrived.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police confirmed the details:
“Police were called following concerns for a man’s welfare in Eriswell Road Car Park, Worthing, around 2.55pm on Wednesday, October 2. Officers arrived and a 36-year-old man from Lancing was found dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.”
