A suspect has appeared in court following a assault in Dover

 

Kent Police was called to Folkestone Road at 7.30pm on Monday 1 June 2020 following a report that a man had been assaulted.

 

James Stott, of Clarendon Street, Dover, has since been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

 

The 31-year-old has also been charged with assaulting the same man on Thursday 26 March 2020.

 

He has also been charged with conduct which would have caused the man fear of violence between Thursday 26 March and Monday 1 June.

 

Mr Stott appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court via video link on Tuesday 16 June and was remanded in custody until he appears before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 20 July.
