Thousands of Pounds Worth of Tools Stolen During Burglaries in Redlynch

Wiltshire Police are investigating a series of burglaries in the Redlynch area, where thieves targeted three separate properties overnight between 19 and 20 September. The stolen items, valued at thousands of pounds, include garden power tools and bicycles.

The burglaries occurred at rural and remote addresses with barns and outbuildings. Police believe the offenders used a black Ford Transit van, travelling through Downton and into Redlynch before heading back onto the A36 towards Hampshire via West Willow.

Residents in the area are being urged to review their home security measures in light of these incidents. Wiltshire Police have increased patrols in the area and are working closely with Hampshire Constabulary to conduct extensive enquiries.
